milk makeup eye cream

For me, I knew skincare was important at a young age, because I had and still do have problems skin and I need to make sure that whatever purchase I make that adds to my skincare routine needs to be oil free, doesn’t clog my pores, doesn’t feel heavy or uncomfortable on my skin and doesn’t give me any more shine that I already have.

I take everything into account including my cleanser, my serums, my face creams and my eye cream.  I had recently purchased an eye cream a few months back thinking I’ll be OK with it.  I mean I used products from this company before without a problem and great results.  But this was literally the second time for me where the product was just not working with me.  I was experiencing ongoing burning and my eyes were itchy and even watering at times.  Even after a couple weeks of this it did not go away.  I even had to not wear makeup for several days!  Do you know how hard that is?  That’s how irritated my eyes were.

So this time instead of getting something anti-aging, I looked for something that would be soothing, calming and would help my dark circles.  I’m always interested in new skincare lines and what they have to offer and I was intrigued by milk makeup.  I was intrigued by their simple packaging, simple ingredients and how easy it is to use their products.  I needed an eye care so I went for their cooling water eye cream stick.  Here is my review on this product.

Milk makeup cooling water de-puffer

I went back to basics with this cooling eye cream and now that it has gotten colder probably a good choice to choose something hydrating as well.  When I first received it, I wasn’t sure how it would work because of the product being a little bit bigger than I thought it would be.  But to be honest now, it’s kind of fun and soothing to use it and plus whenever I need a boost during the day I can simply roll it on, touch up the makeup and looked instantly refreshed.

The main ingredients are caffeine and sea water that help to reenergize and hydrate the eye area.  Red sea algae also helps to preserve dry skin and help maintain your skin structure with moisture.  Aloe also helps to soothe and cool the skin as well.  It is mainly for the eye area but I have seen a video on the milk makeup web site where you can actually put it on your face.  I don’t think I’ll be using on my face any time soon but it’s good to know I have the option.

My review on this eye cream is it’s easy to use, quick to apply and its lightweight.  When I first apply it on, it blurs the look of lines and dark circles.  But after a few minutes after applying it, there is a sticky almost tacky feel around the eye area where I applied it.  Although it does not disturb the makeup I put on top of it or makes it look greasy, it still feels weird to me.  But maybe that’s how the formula works and how it keeps it hydrated and making the eye area look brighter and more awake.  After getting used to that, it no longer bothers me because it stays where you apply it and makes my eyes and makeup looked great.

Buying this eye cream was a last minute decision only because I wasn’t planning on buying another eye cream anytime soon.  Maybe all have better luck next time buying an anti aging cream but until then I will see you beauties next week!
