While the weather is getting colder, skin can start to change even if it is oily skin it still needs moisture. What is one of the easiest ways to get that? The easiest way you can add a little moisture to your skin is a toner.
Yes I said a toner and yes you can find one perfect for your skin type. It can totally balance out your PH level after you wash your face ‘cause sometimes after washing your face it can feel uncomfortable and tight and it helps prep the skin for your serum and moisturizer.
Usually in the hotter weather I use my toner at the end of the day to read that my skin of the extra oils, makeup and grime. Now that my skin has changed I can get away with using it twice a day so my skin stays hydrated.
So when a beautiful skincare company that is launching their newest skincare line, one that is particularly for combination to oily skin I answered a few questions for them and they send me their skincare collection called marry eco. Read on for a full review.
Marry eco Pyumbaek Fresh Toner
This company is from South Korea and it is also the same company that makes Tony Moly. Because this is a newly launched skincare collection, there isn’t a lot of information out there about it except in Korean on their website.
This skincare line that I received included a toner, an emulsion and a facial cream for combination to oily skin. Its oil free, paraben free and alcohol free. Because it is for oily skin it does contain witch hazel, citric acid ingredient that is only found in a tree bark found in Japan called Chamaecyparis obtusa substance. It is an ingredient that helps to kill bacteria on your skin. It does have a light, fresh scent but it is not overwhelming and it disappears within minutes after applying the toner which I really love.
My personal opinion for this toner is that it is quite effective especially with my problematic skin and when the seasons change my skin can be a bit worse. It has calmed down my skin and given it some added moisture and it doesn’t leave my skin shiny. I do use it twice a day and when I put it on with a cotton pad it sinks in my skin within seconds and I love the sauce scent it leaves behind. And I have been using it with the other products I got and it has been working out pretty well. Sometimes I do skip the emulsion part of the routine as I don’t need that much moisture on my skin. But I don’t break out when I do use it. In fact I haven’t broken out while using the three step system except during hormonal fluctuations or stress.
So I will continue to use the three steps system into the winter time. It has been an amazing experience using these products and being part of a launch. I hope you found this review helpful and I will see you next week my beauties!
Tip: when applying a toner you can either palm it and rub it between your hands to warm it up and gently pat all over your face and neck area. This is another way to apply the toner on your face.
