When it comes to fall season, it’s the perfect time to start thinking about a new skincare routine. It’s also a great time to use products that can help refine and resurface the skin after a summer of long, sunny days. Because after that fades away and we know it’s gonna happen, some of us might be left with wrinkle or two that wasn’t there before or gasp! Maybe it’s a sunspot and those are definitely hard to get rid of.
Well sunscreen for starters is something you definitely have to invest in no matter the time of the year. I’m not sure where I heard this from but I heard that if you can clearly see your hands in front of your face that means the sun is out and you should wear sunscreen. And however you want to resurface your skin, in order to maintain those results, you definitely need to wear sunscreen!
So right now I have started the process and introduced a toner that helps me to exfoliate my skin. Here is my full review on this toner that I am currently using. Read on down below for more.
Reversa 8% exfoliating toner
This toner is very basic and there’s not much ingredients to it. It is perfume free, oil free and that the company itself is cruelty free. The cost of this toner is $37.00 for 120 ml and it is suitable for oily skin. The main and active ingredient in this toner is the glycolic acid which helps too resurface your skin.
My personal opinion on this toner is that it is ok. The first ingredient in this toner unfortunately is alcohol and although it is working for me right now, I’m pretty sure I am gonna have to stop using it when it gets colder. I don’t feel any dryness or dehydration in the skin when I use it but I’m only using it a few times a week and I use it at the end of the day only.
Every ones skin reacts differently to ingredients in products. And my skin isn’t really sensitive to begin with but this last few months, the products that I have been using have been products that have minimal ingredients. And I have noticed a difference in my skin in a good way and I wanna keep it that way.
For the moment, I will continue to use the toner but will be on the lookout to find another one that will help keep my skin hydrated in the colder season. I’m not a huge fan of the alcohol being in my skincare. I wouldn’t personally recommend this toner especially in the colder seasons when skin can get dehydrated or dry pretty quickly but if you think your skin can handle it, then go for it. And until next week my beauties, have a good day!
