Whenever I start using a new cream I go into it skeptical because I want to have my opinion of my own of the face cream. But at the same time before I purchase one and I have one in mind, I would like to read through reviews from people who have the same skin type and problems like mine so I’m not buying a face cream that’s gonna give me more problems than solve them. Make sense right?
I had bought the origins cream called high potency night-A-mins which I found very enticing because for the most part it’s natural and plus it’s packed of vitamins and minerals to help repair and rejuvenate the skin. I was going to start using it last summer, but unfortunately my life got very stressful and turned upside down. Plus my skin was going through a lot that when I returned to a more normal skin care routine, it was already fall and I usually need something more nourishing than the origins face cream. So I kept it in my drawer waiting for will warmer weather to come around.
This past month I have been using it and I’d don’t know why I waited so long to use this face cream. So here is my review of my current face cream.
Origins high potency night-A-mins
In the past I’ve used several products from this company from their cleansers to their masks and even a couple of their lip glosses. And for the most part I was happy with them. I did end up using their ginseng eye cream and wasn’t too thrilled with it because I didn’t really notice a difference. So when I purchased this cream I wasn’t sure what the results would be and what I would get out of it but by reading the reviews from other bloggers and other web sites I took the chance and splurged on this cream.
For anyone who wants to know, this company is cruelty free, paraben free, perfume free and doesn’t use any harsh chemicals in their products that might irritate your skin. They do pride themselves on being safe on the planet and safe for people, I mean even the package that this cream came in says it is made it from recycled paper. So it seems that they do put a lot of thought into their skincare, what they put in to that skincare as well as what they put the skincare in. So I hope this helps anyone who is a little bit self-conscious of what their using for their skincare as recently I have been getting a lot of customers who are asking about products that are cruelty free and safe for the skin.
This face cream is packed of vitamins, minerals and essential oils that are so good for the skin. When you open up the container all you can smell is oranges, at least that’s what I smelled when I first opened it and its so light that this gel cream sinks into your skin quite quickly. To help lock in moisture and resurface the skin it contains vitamins C, E and H. It also has minerals and essential oils to help fortify and protect the skin. Bitter orange peel oil, orange flower oil, rosemary leaf extract, Shea butter are just a few of the oils and extracts that is used in this cream. Essentially this moisturizer helps to renew and give radiance to the skin.
My personal opinion about this cream is that it does wonders for my skin. It brightens and evens out my skin, it does not feel heavy at all and when I wake up in the morning my skin looks less fatigued looking and feels hydrated. I love this gel cream and its perfect for the summer weather. If they had a body moisturizer like this I would definitely be drenched in it! So yes I love it and I give it two thumbs way up.
Tip: Always apply a serum under your moisturizer to get maximum benefits and results. I mean if your skin can handle it of course. Until next week my beauties, have a good day!
