I love to keep my makeup and skincare routine as simple as possible. But I don’t mind enhancing my beauty when I can! And who doesn’t want to add a little flair to their look once in awhile? Especially now when you can’t see anyone’s face, you want to accentuate your eyes as much as possible. I’ll admit, that I don’t wear that much foundation anymore. These days I just focus on my eye area, the brows, under the eyes and of course wearing brighter colors of eye shadow.
You know what else is a good add on? Lashes of course! Even if you don’t want to wear that much eye makeup, simply popping on some lashes will get you that “look at my eyes” look that you want. I received a beautiful pair of eyelashes along with their eye lash glue that is perfect to wear everyday.
Casablanca beauty lashes in classic dame
This company is a woman owned company which I love to support. Laura Escamilla is the founder of Casablanca beauty who loves two empower women as well is a proud supporter of the national coalition of domestic violence. Who wouldn’t want to support this company?
Casablanca beauty has 100% mink lashes and faux mink lashes as well as accessories like their lash glue. Prices range from $15.00 to $20.00 U.S. And they are reusable 15 plus times if you take care of them properly. The lash glue is $10.00 U.S. And it is supposed to be 24 hour hold, waterproof, cruelty free and vegan free. Plus, for sensitive eyes, it is latex free and formaldehyde free.
I received gifted, 24 hour invisible lash glue and I chose the faux mink lashes in classic dame. Whether I’m a classic dame or not, I chose these lashes because they were perfect to go too work with them every day. A little more on the natural side but with some textured flair and length. Definitely a showstopper when you’re only wearing a mask and the eyes are the only things that you see.
To date, I’ve worn them a handful of times and they are totally comfortable! I have large eyes, so there was no trimming involved. The train or track that you apply the lash glue on was also very soft so it didn’t irritate my lash line which I’ve had in the past with other false lashes. The longest I’ve worn these lashes was about 10 hours and they didn’t move or budge and definitely didn’t fall off or irritate my eyes.
So I would definitely recommend these lashes and the glue because I have tried several lash Brands and these ones were one of the few that didn’t irritate my eyes or lash line. I’m glad these worked out because I do love supporting other women who also love supporting woman. You would not be disappointed in the products. I hope you enjoyed this blog post and if you want to check out Laura’s website, I’ll link it down below.
Also, here are a few quick tips on false lashes.
- Before applying them, make sure to trend them if necessary. You don’t want the track to be sticking out or hitting your tear duct.
- When applying the lash glue, make sure to wait 15 to 30 seconds or when it starts getting tacky to apply them. It will give you a better hold and last all day.
- If you want your lashes to last longer don’t apply mascara. Apply mascara on your real lashes first, and then when false lashes are on use a lash comb to blend them together.
- If you don’t want to poll your lashes off, I would suggest to drench the end of a Q tip with a micellar water and rub along the track to dissolve the glue and gently pull them off
