I love makeup! The colors, the textures and even in the packaging it comes in, I definitely have an admiration for it. Especially this year, I’ve gotten into brighter colors and getting used to wearing a little bit a sparkle in my everyday makeup. But some days I like to keep it simple like with the basic black eyeliner.
Nowadays, some companies are trying to be responsible to the planet and have recyclable containers, refillable lipsticks that are great idea. But I bet you haven’t come across a company that goes a step further and when you’re done with the product, you can actually plant it! You heard it, the eyeliner and eyebrow liner that I’m about to tell you from my personal experience is actually true!
I was curious and also really excited to try them out. How was something that is totally recyclable and that you can plant, be effective and long lasting? So I have oily eyelids and I need to make sure that my eyeliner doesn smudge and lasts all day. So I put the eyebrow liner and eyeliner to the test to see how effective it is. But here are few reasons why you should use this duo and why it should be in your makeup bag.

I received two liners, a black eyeliner and a dark brown eyebrow liner. I’ve been using them consistently for the last couple weeks and I can’t tell you how much I enjoyed them. When I first opened the box, which by the way is also recyclable, all I could smell was the wood that they use as a pencil. After getting past that woodsy, beautiful smell I tested both on my hand. The black eyeliner seemed soft and glided on easily which by the way translated very well on the eye lid. The lines came out crisp and sharp and gave me that simple and clean look.
The eyebrow liner came in dark brown which I prefer because it looks more natural on me is a more soft pencil. I feel that it gave me a more natural and softer eyebrow look rather than a more defined look. Because it gave me such a soft look, I really didn’t have to use a brow brush to make it look more uniformed. For me personally, I prefer an eyebrow pencil like this.
They both last throughout the day and washed off pretty easily with my own cleansing water. And of course, they didn’t irritate my eyes which is a big plus for me. I’m so excited to finish them and actually plant them so I can have some wildflowers of my own. And also see if it’s actually a real, hehe! I’m sure they are, but this time I’m excited to get to the end of these pencils and plant them!
