I’ve always been excited to do collaborations with makeup and skincare companies. Because that is something I know and I’m comfortable with, so I don’t really bother with anything else. But the last couple years I’ve collaborated with clothing company and even an appliance! I’d definitely want to collaborate with a chocolate company, because you know, chocolate obsession!! I also like to support Canadian companies when I get the chance.
A few months ago, a company named Sticker Canada contacted me and wanted to collaborate and eventually I agreed. I wasn’t sure what they could make for me but recently I started my own small business and thought that they could make me some stickers so I could use them for my business. The marketing team was super kind as well as their design team who came up with the finishing product. Let me tell you my experience and how a person like me who can’t design anything, came out with a beautiful vinyl sticker from Sticker Canada.
Between the marketing team, design team and I, we sent many emails on my design. I gave them the words “addicted to beauty” in the type of font I wanted and also told them I wanted it in purple. Pretty vague right? I told you I’m not that good with designs but through the emails we sent each other, they were meticulous and sent me a few rough drafts of what it will look like. Also, I didn even tell them the size I wanted the stickers but thankfully they showed me how it will look as a square or rectangle design. In the end, I picked a rectangle design and a smaller size so I could use them for my small business.
I definitely wouldn’t mind getting more stickers from them and also, they make business cards which would prove very useful in my small business! I am utterly excited to use them and also making more products with them in the future. They literally fell in my lap when I needed them and I’m so glad this collaboration happened.
