The last couple weeks, I seem to be reviewing products for the eyes, so let’s continue with that trend. It’s also probably A perfect time to do it considering we are approaching the Christmas holidays and will be glam it up for Christmas parties, family and friends get togethers and we can’t for get new year’s eve. And what better way to finish up your look by doing smoky eyes, glitter and long, voluminous lashes? Because even though they may be a small part of your look, it’s those little details that sets you apart from everyone else.
I love a good mascara and when it’s working for me, I can’t live without it! On my days off when I want to keep my makeup low key, I just add a coat of mascara for a natural and wide eye look. When I need to glam up for date night, I’ll add a few extra coats of mascara to give me thick and voluminous lashes.
But can one tube of mascara do it all for lashes? Does it have to be $30.00 and comes in a pretty shiny packaging to give you the volume or length or even both that you want? Or can it be found in a drugstore, be affordable and give you length and volume or both? Keep reading for my latest review on my current mascara.
Revlon so fierce! Mascara
I haven’t really used a lot of makeup products from Revlon in a while. But their newest collection, the so fierce line with their eyeliners and new mascara, it got me interested. So here’s the rundown on this mascara. You’d be happy to know that there is no alcohol or parabens in this mascara, which I think it should be known on the packaging but it’s good to know that they don’t have these ingredients in it. It is meant to give you length and volume as well as lift your lashes leaving them glossy, clump free and smudge proof. The price for this mascara is $11.99.
I’ve been having a good run on mascaras lately and this one is pretty awesome as well. When you take the mascara wand out of the tube, you can feel a little bit of resistance only because it’s taking the exccess mascara off so it doesn’t add clumps to your lashes which is amazing. If I do one or two coats of this mascara, I get a nice, natural look but it gives me length and some volume. But if I add a couple more coats I definitely get that “fierce” look that you want. It gives me beautiful volume without the clumps and doesn give you that spidery look and we all know what I’m talking about!
I have been using this mascara for over a month now and even with my oily eyelids, it does not melt off or flake off and it does stay on all day without smudging either. Usually the mascara wands that is that hard plastic material pulls at my lashes, but this one did not do that. This mascara definitely finishes all my looks whether its natural or glam. I definitely would recommend this mascara, I mean if you’re looking for one this might be the next one you want to try.

Tip: if you don’t want to commit to a waterproof mascara but want to your mascara to last and stay on all day, then apply a lash primer so that the mascara has something to adhere to and will give you the lasting power you need.
