Vasanti lip balm

So me and my lip balm!  So I have this crazy obsession with glosses, treatments, lipsticks and everything in between.  I just want to try them all.  I don’t care if it’s $2.00 or even $80.00, as long as it works and I don’t have to waste my money and time looking for a new one.  But one thing for sure they have to work.  Because for me unfortunately it doesn’t matter what season it is, my lips are dry all year round.  Of course in the summer time they are better but I still need something that works two comfort my lips and have them looking supple and hydrated.

In the summer time when my lips aren’t so dry and flaky I can interchange with lipstick or gloss.  But what I do love is to find something that can make my routine a lot easier by using less.  My usual routine would consist of a lip balm with no color and put a gloss or lipstick on top but if I find a lip balm with some color that’s the perfect product for me for the summer.  But of course those days when my lips are extra dry I do put on lip balm before applying color.

Guess what my beauties?  I’ve found another one!  And it’s definitely a keeper plus it’s yet another Canadian brand.  But if you want to get to know this brand and this new lip balm I found, read on more to find out down below.

Vasanti best balm forever lip balm

Canadian brand is owned by four women, three sisters and one friend.  It is also made in Canada and it started out in Toronto.  This is a brand that started out in the mid to late 90’s and grew by word of mouth with their foundations for women who couldn’t find that perfect shade for their skin tone.  Mostly women who have darker skin tones and can’t find the right undertone from your normal garden variety of foundations because it makes them look too ashy.  So this is how they started their brand and since then they have added additional products that complement their foundations.

This best balm forever is a lip treatment that hydrates and moisturizer lips while giving it a little bit of color and gloss.  There are six shades to choose from and they cost $22.00 so it’s not exactly cheap but for me it’s not the most expensive one I’ve used either.  The one I chose to purchase is called wine?  A berry color.

Loaded with lips friendly ingredients like Shea butter, coconut oil, mango seed butter and Abyssinian oil, these are the ingredients that give you a beautiful shine to the lips as well as making your lips highly moisturized and giving it hydration when you need it most.  When I read the packaging and looked it up online too get to know more of these ingredients I couldn’t help but try it.  Because someone like me who has to deal with dry lips, this product sounded great.

My personal opinion on this lip product is that you need to try it for yourself!  I give this product two thumbs way up because it does exactly what I needed to do.  It moisturize is my lips, it naturally plumps my lips with hydration and even after I eat or drink I still feel it moisturizing but it never feels heavy or sticky on my lips.  Plus it has a nice, light and sweet smell to it, for me it almost smells like mangoes.  The color too is soft and enhances my lip color.  I am so glad that this is another Canadian Company I found that has a great lip balm that I can go to.  Plus being run by women is also a good thing because who knows best about beauty?

So if you’re in the market for another lip balm and you want something that gives you a little bit of color to, give this one a try because you will not want to stop wearing it.  I will be starting a best of lip balm/treatment highlights on my Instagram page so you know which ones are best to use.  Because of my eye obsession for finding lip balms that cater to my dry lips, you can guarantee for sure you’ll find one that you will like.  Until next week my beauties have a good day!

Tip: to keep your lips looking and feeling its best don’t forget to put a lip balm on before bed.
